This Issue
May/June 2009
Here at Cicada®, our work spaces are littered with sticky notes: all those to-dos and don't forgets and OMGs! Which leads straight into the theme of this issue: moving on, taking care of business, whatever you want to call it.
So what's holding you back? What stops you from asking out that girl or guy, making up with your best friend, or interviewing for that summer job? What's keeping you from tackling all those obstacles that clutter your life and psyche? In this issue, Carrie in "Moving On" finally finds her footing after being swept from foster home to foster home, while Steven in "Taking Alice to the Prom" tackles his prom problem with panache and a sense of the ridiculous. Paige Hook unloads a burden of guilt in "Expressions: Last Regrets." They're moving on.
Time to move on . . . be sure to check out The Slam, Creative Endeavors, and a new feature that allows you to submit reviews of your Favorite Books.
