 In every beating
heart of a soul

In every creature, short and tall

Exists the wizard we all know

It’s steady and sturdy as we grow

Then comes the time of the crossroads

To decide to be good or bad

And so we consult our wizards

Either to be meek or a tad mad

The good ones are magical

Leaving a trail of goodness’ beauty

Positivity is principal

No room for evil’s bounty

But my focus is on the bad ones

Of which exists more than any

They take mischief for a dance

With no care for a penny

The most dangerous are the camouflaged

With great resemblance to the good

They make you feel they care and are attached

But are the wolves of the riding hood.

The next are the bad and we know it

For there’s no hiding their deeds

Hoarding harm in their barns where they stow it

Riding death like a foreign steed

They leave a trail of bitterness

And selfish consummations

And their only show of tenderness

Is when they sow destruction

Slammings

This was lovely. I only wish the formatting hadn't turned out so wierd. But the poem was really lovely and insightful and the descriptions were gorgeous! Keep writing!
