The Slam: Slammables

This Great Game of Improvisation

by ancient amateur, Gallifrey

This great game of improvisation

holds us in its grasp

while we try to dance

There is a twsting, a shudder, and

the mind relents

The struggle is woven into the current

of our river.

That river is made of tears

And the mountains are made

of our hair and skin

We intertwine

A cog in the machine

Or a stitch in the fabric

A single fiber with a rebellious

We dance and burn.
