The Slam: Slammables

Birches

by fireflowerfiftyfive, Corning, NY

Birches bend                                             in the wind
their branches moving wildly like                 the soul of the restless waif
hair whipping round a visage                       that holds its silence in
loneliness                                                   and secrecy

Slammings

Wow! I love the descriptive language used in this piece! The personification is great as well.

All in all, well done. I look forward to more pieces by you.

Putting it in a way that allows you to read it three different ways was a cool touch -- very nicely creates the spirit of a birch.  Not just a birch personified, but its dryad described.
